Child Sexual Abuse Practitioner
Pay – £27,500 – £32,000

Brave Futures is a well-established charity working across Suffolk and Norfolk. We provide specialist support and a safe place for children and young people up to the age of 21 who have disclosed sexual abuse, along with offering support for siblings and parents/carers. We use an approved programme in order to help our children rebuild their future and move forward with their lives.
We are a multidisciplinary team, with our practitioners coming from a range of backgrounds, including social work, police, education and creative therapy. We work under the direction of our Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Lead. We support children and young people in one-to-one weekly sessions, as well as holding group sessions throughout the year. We are currently based throughout Suffolk and Norfolk, with our main office in central Ipswich and hubs in Norwich, Lowestoft, Bury St Edmunds, Great Yarmouth and Kings Lynn.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team. The position will be based in the Waveney area and will involve lone working. Travel to other hubs and offices will be required dependent on the need of incoming referrals. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, and/or have extensive experience of working with children. An understanding of the impact of trauma on children, as well as a working knowledge of safeguarding would be desirable. Experience of completing assessments would also be of benefit but not essential as full training will be given.
The available post is for 37 hours per week; however, part time hours will be considered.

Expenses- mileage paid when travelling away from office base.
Events- multiple events are arranged throughout the year and we highly encourage our practitioners to attend these where possible.
Training- Full training provided within induction as well as continuous professional development.

Norfolk Engagement & Fundraising Officer
Pay – £25,000 – £33,000
Location – Norfolk

Brave Futures is a well-established charity working across Norfolk and Suffolk. We provide specialist support and a safe place for children and young people up to the age of 21 who have experienced sexual abuse, along with offering support for siblings and parents/carers.
We host a few key events throughout the year such as our flagship Dragon Boat Race as well supporting charities of the year, community groups and individuals.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated person to join our growing engagement and fundraising team. The position will involve lone working and will cover all of Norfolk. The role is hybrid and flexible in its delivery, allowing home working and access to our new hub in Norwich. Some travel to Suffolk to support the wider fundraising events and attend team meetings. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within income generation or sales, someone with experience of stewardship. You will be able to help raise awareness by engaging people with our work and by recruiting and supporting fundraising.
The available post is for 37 hours per week; however, part time hours will be considered.
