Brave Futures Limited is a charity based at 333 Felixstowe Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP3 9BU.  Our work encompasses Suffolk and Norfolk.  We can be contacted at this address, or via this website.  We can also be found on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram social media sites.  We may process “personal data” and/or “special category personal data” (as defined in UK data protection legislation, including UK GDPR) as part of our contracted services and/or for our administration.  Information is kept while it remains relevant to the reason for collection and/or if there is a statutory retention period. This includes any child data.  All feasible security measures are in place.  Security of data in our care is important to us.

Data may be shared with third parties as part of the contracted services, for administrative purposes and/or if we are required by law to do so.  This may include local authorities or Doctors surgeries.   We cannot accept any liability for any processing conducted by any third party outside our remit. 

As required by law, a cookie audit has been conducted on our website.  Cookies are internet files utilised by websites.  On this website, we utilise cookies for analytical purposes.  Google-owned cookies are triggered by the “reCAPTCHA” feature on our site which we have for authentication purposes.  This feature has its own Google “Privacy and Terms”, over which we have no control and no responsibility.  The “Google Translator” facility also has its own privacy feature – over which we have no control. Both of these features may build an advertising profile – but this is only utilised by Google.

None of the above affects your rights under the legislation, in particular your right to access the data we may hold on you.  If you wish to request a copy of your data, please submit it in writing/email to the Company.    Please include enough information to enable us to identify you and search for appropriate data.
