Brave Futures is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Gough Hotels, who have chosen us as their charity partner for the next two years. This incredible commitment will help us raise vital funds and awareness to support children and young people who have experienced the trauma of sexual abuse.
To mark the beginning of this meaningful collaboration, Salthouse Harbour Hotel will be hosting a Spring Half Term Afternoon Tea–a family-friendly event designed to bring loved ones together for a special afternoon of delicious treats, fun activities, and live entertainment for all ages. Guests attending will also be in with the chance to win an overnight stay at the luxurious Salthouse Harbour Hotel, as every ticket purchased includes automatic entry into the raffle. Plus, little ones under five can enjoy afternoon tea for free!
Danielle Abreu, Group HR & Marketing Manager at Gough Hotels, shared her enthusiasm about the partnership:
“We’re thrilled to partner with Brave Futures. We understand the importance of supporting our local community and are proud to help raise awareness for an organisation that works tirelessly to support children and young people affected by sexual abuse. We first connected with Brave Futures in 2024, and ever since, we’ve been looking for ways to contribute. This partnership is the perfect way to begin, and we look forward to welcoming families and friends to our Afternoon Tea event in support of such a vital cause.”
The funds raised through this collaboration will go directly towards helping Brave Futures expand its services, ensuring that more children and young people across the region can access the crucial support they need.
Hannah Walker, Fundraising and Marketing Manager at Brave Futures, expressed her gratitude:
“We are incredibly thankful to Gough Hotels for selecting us as their charity partner. Due to the sensitive nature of our work, we are not always the first organisation that comes to mind for support, which makes this partnership even more special. It provides a fantastic opportunity to not only raise essential funds but also to increase awareness of the services we offer. Together, we can reach more families, educate our communities, and ensure that no child has to face the effects of abuse alone.”
The Spring Half Term Afternoon Tea is just the first of many exciting events planned as part of this two-year partnership. We can’t wait to see the positive impact this collaboration will bring and look forward to working alongside Gough Hotels to make a real difference in the lives of the children and young people we support.
